Writers supporting writers just might be the way to go

The past few years have been… frustrating, to say the least.

Over this time I lost my full-time job and decided to become a writer full time.

I jumped headfirst into the world of fiction and using my Creative Writing degree to help other aspiring authors.

The journey has been amazing though not without its up and downs.

On the first of the month, I decided I was going to try and hit an income goal of matching what my income was at my previous full-time job.

I spent the whole month of January making websites, joining discussion boards, and planning out what my game plan was going to be. Then I started my drive for the goal on February 1st and I don’t plan to stop until the bells ring in the New Year.

Enter February 15th stage right, when an email came from Medium telling me I was going to be removed from the Partner Program if I did not meet the requirement of 100 followers by March 2nd.

Just when I had decided to give this site my all and post every single day it felt like the floor had caved in under me. I’m sure I had received an email prior informing me this was coming, but as I never read it, receiving this email was a complete shock.
