Should I pack up my marbles and go elsewhere?
This year I decided to take on several writing challenges, not only on Medium but on several other sites as well.
- Publish 1000 articles this year
- Publish one article a day constantly for 60 days
When I first joined Medium in October of 2020 my writing was sporadic, I published only eight articles that month and from then on the number of articles posted in a month never went any higher than four.
- October 2020: 8 Articles
- November 2020: 2 Articles
- Dec, Jan, March 2020: 4 Articles Each
- April 2021: 1 Article
- July, Aug 2021: 2 Articles Each
- September 2021: 4 Articles Each
- January 2022: 1 Article
- February 2022: 10 Articles SO FAR
This month has been the best in terms of actually writing and getting articles published, but it’s been the worst in terms of earnings and views.
There are none! Most of the stories in which there are views have been viewed through external links, with No Medium/Internal readers.
Each of these articles is posted in a publication as well as having 42 followers.
